The Goddess ~ Kwan Yin

Every season brings changes upon our every day lives. As time changes through the season of each year, we have an opportunity to rediscover ourselves through our own cycles and seasons; reinventing or uncovering pieces of our selves. Every cycle becomes another opportunity to redefine our selves, our lives, and this wild woman journey for the better; for the good of the whole. This process can reveal obstacles and challenges. Feeling supported, and reclaiming that sacred space, that safe space, to grow and change in our own unique way, is the gift of the sisterhood.
In this circle we will get a chance to explore our systems of support and empowerment. And through the compassionate view of Quan Yin we will explore the burdens and pressures that steer us away from our support systems.
Join me sistahs, as we come into the 4th moon cycle of this year. This is the moon cycle that carries the medicine of prophecy, making it easier to see the truth in all colors. Let us speak our wise woman truths, becoming the Seer, the Oracle, the Dreamer, the Visionary.

Her-story

Goddess of Mercy, a rainbow bore Kwan Yin to heaven in human form. Her name means “regard-er of sounds,” meaning she hears the cries and prayers of the world. Giving freely of her unending sympathy, fertility, health and magical insight to all who ask. It is her sacred duty to relieve suffering and encourage enlightenment among humans.

Kwan Yin embodies all that is female of the universe. Sitting in her lotus throne, contemplating the golden vial of her own womb, which gave forth the entire world. Traditionally, we pray to her for the safety and health of our children and family.

Invoking Kwan Yin

With Kwan Yin, we will journey through the full spectrum of rainbow colors. Through the Golden Door of Illumination, that leads to all other dimensions of awareness, our own magical insights spark, as we plant dreams in lotus blossoms.

Kwan Yin Talisman

Bless Goddesses~

In the presence of snow, I am grateful for the shelter and the warmth of our hearth. I am reminded to tread lightly, rejuvenate my self and find the balance to rest. And to rest for those that cannot. The more I do, the more I am rewarded by a peaceful state of be-ing. During these challenging times, may you find time to sit by a warm fire, read a good book, soak in a bath, and/or find some time to nurture yourself.

With the global shifting occurring and all of us feeling it, impacted by it, on some level, I have naturally been drawn to Isis. Appropriately, with the protests and uprising in Egypt, it is Isis that calls to us, to let the healing begin. Isis is about as old as the history of Egypt itself. She is known as the Goddess of All Things, and the goddess of 10,000 names.

I am looking forward to this journey, my sisters.

Her-story

Triple Goddess of Birth, Life and Death. The cat goddess Bast is her lunar/fertility aspect, holding an ankh in her left hand and the sacred poppy in her right. The mother goddess aspect is represented by her sun-disc/moon crescent crown.Throughout her-story, it is claimed, that she has appeared to many of her followers answering their prayers, requests and questions.
Isis is the feminine archetype for creation; the Goddess of Fertility and Motherhood. She represents our feminine aspects of creation, rebirth, ascension, intuition, psychic abilities, higher chakras, high frequency vibrations, love and compassion. She is the yin energy, which is part of us all.

Invoking Isis

In the process of restoration, we as wombyn, find our strength in the healing powers of rest.
Forgetting ourselves in the hustle, demands, lists, and responsibilities, is easy. Remembering how to give ourselves the time we deserve to rejuvenate, doing something that nurtures our souls often (key word: often), is usually a stretch. Though this is where growth begins. Creating a safe place(s) where healing can occur. We all know, when we heal ourselves, we heal our planet. And our planet, our relations on it, could use some healing right now too.

Journey to the Sky Temple
The Pattern of Isis myth is the same one that any healing must take. Whether that loss is health, wealth, home, or love, first we must grieve the loss, then we must search for wholeness, and then we may finally, after what seems to be insurmountable obstacles, find ourselves made whole once more.

Temple Beads Project

After visiting the Sky Temple we will create our own temple beads for our altars or for wearing, while we share our stories. (All materials provided)
